Natural Stone Projects has been specified to supply 4 stones to Mulberry’s new design concept for their global stores, co-created by Mulberry’s creative director Johnny Coca and renowned British interior designer Faye Toogood. Natural Stone Projects was asked to source and propose a range of stones inspired by the proposed colour scheme and which should include British stone .

The stones selected are NSP English Ironstone, Cornish Slate, NSP Printemps Green marble, honed finish and NSP Mahogany Stone. The stones appear in the Regent St, London flagship store and the luxury retail, Melbourne Emporium, Australia.

The project required careful selection of slabs, critical lead times and made to measure crates for each material to ensure the safe passage of large slabs of luxury stone to Australia.

A challenge for the project was to create curved drawer fronts and curved table edges from the 20mm stone which was undertaken by specialist fabricators who deal with lightweight stone for superyachts.
