Natural Stone Projects has produced six made to measure carved basins in our Roman Silver Light vein cut travertine for a boutique hotel project in South West England.

Silver, blue-grey, and beige tones characterise this attractive selection of Italian travertine. We worked closely with our Italian suppliers to approve blocks and all details down to the rebate for the waste fitting. Three of the basins have full length splashbacks produced in matching 20mm travertine.

Some of the basins will be made to look ‘free standing’ by hanging on steel wall brackets. The brackets are hidden within the basin by carving channels underneath to accommodate them. Other basins will standing on a frame and had a small rebate on the bottom edge to fix the basin in position.

The blocks were cut so that the veins were displayed on the top and sides of the basin and cross cut on the front.
