C11 Basaltina Italian Basalt
A long time favourite, Basaltina Italian Basalt, is an extremely hard Basalt which is characterised by tiny natural holes. There are 2 selections. The Classico, is the premium selection and is distinguished by the tiny narrow holes which flow directionally. The Selco selection has tiny rounded holes .
The holes can be left unfilled or be pre-filled depending on preference and application. It can be a silky matt or take a high polish as well as offering a number of textured finishes. Its’ use in the Vatican museum, Rome as well as the Getty Museum, New York is testament to its capacity for high traffic.
Frost proof, hard wearing and with good slip resistance, Basaltina is available for all kinds of interior and exterior ( in appropriate thickness) cut to size stonework and tiles.
