D11 NSP Classic Light Travertine

A best selling  special selection of  NSP Italian Classic Light travertine in pale cream and warm honey tones.

A superbly versatile stone found throughout Rome ,that can be used with a wide range of finishes and comes as tiles or in large blocks and slabs for all kinds of cut to size stonework including external. This makes it an ideal inside to outside stone.

The standard finishes are honed, antiqued (hand finish with a pillowed edge and gentle undulations) or tumbled but we specialise in bespoke finishes such as brushed or bevel edge if required.

Travertine has naturally occurring holes which can be left unfilled  but are more usually filled. For honed or polished  internal floors or cladding this will be with a resin. As a very hard stone, travertine can provide a high polish although the most popular finish is a matt honed.

For exterior or tumbled and antique style floors, the stone will arrive unfilled and will be filled with a matching grout upon installation.

We have supplied numerous projects for leading garden designer, Stephen Woodhams in this stone which you can see here .  It can be combined with darker beds of travertine such as the NSP Dark Noce for a border design or used for exterior table tops and barbeque areas.

For bespoke internal projects it can be used for large format cladding, wetrooms and solid carved basins and bathtubs.
